How tryat works, what it does with your accounts, and how to get help or get out.

What tryat is

tryat reads the health and training data your watch already collects, brings it together in one place, and gives you a daily reading of it from an AI coach that can see all of it at once. It is not a doctor and not a substitute for one. See the terms for what that means.

Connecting Garmin

In Garmin Connect you create a personal API key. In tryat, open Settings and paste the key when you connect Garmin. tryat never sees or stores your Garmin password. The key is encrypted before it reaches our database and is used only to read your own data.

We read sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, Body Battery, weight, steps and your recorded activities, including Garmin’s training load for each of them. We never post to Garmin, never change anything in your account, and never read anybody else’s data.

Garmin is connected but tryat shows nothing

tryat can only read what Garmin has. Check that your watch has synced to Garmin Connect and that a recent session is visible there. If the key has expired or been deleted, make a new one in Garmin Connect and connect again.

Disconnecting Garmin

In tryat: Settings, then disconnect. That removes the stored key immediately. You can also delete the key in Garmin Connect at any time, and either way we stop being able to read anything.

Open Settings and you can download everything we hold as a single file, withdraw consent for health data, or delete your account outright. All three are immediate and none of them require asking us. The detail is in the privacy policy.
